That's a great question. I worry about that too. Having the power to shape the narrative grants the power to shape reality to some extent and they've kept the game going for a long time. What gives me patience is the idea that things that can't go on forever will eventually stop. That applies to unsustainable politics, unsustainable monetary policy, and, sadly, the unsustainable pax americana.
Echos of Peter Zeihan. Echos of the Bitcoiner ethos. All that leaves is the optimism you illustrated in the cycles of history. Not pretty - but we are seeing the same ….
Nice one! I don't think they're playing 4D chess and hope to pin the economic collapse on Orange Hitler. One suspects that they're really buying their own marketing and believe things are going OK.
Sorry to see you go. I enjoyed reading your articles and thank you for that. Good luck with your start up and I hope it succeeds beyound your expectations.
"They could also be in the process of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as is their wont."
I love that... I wonder though, did the Dems not learn how well their plan of major catastrophe, ballots mailed to every address, questionable counting, along with extended voting weeks worked to their advantage?
I'm sure there are political strategists assigned to all of these things. The election is sort of theirs to lose which makes it all the more astonishing that they look like their losing at the moment.
Is it really any more theirs to lose today than it was four years ago? All those tactics were used, seemingly effectively, four years ago, would they not dip into that well again?
Government is forced edicts. That is your root problem. You can't fix it. You have to get rid of it entirely, or your so-called civilization will eventually and inevitably fail every time. A decade, a few hundred years, ...it WILL fail if it is wholly based on violence/coercion/theft/etc.
Democrats certainly aren't going to save anything.
A triple like on this one Ken. Thank you for your time and insight. Best of luck in your new venture. Hope we continue to hear from you when you can.
Thank you so much, HB!
Love your perspective- but I feel like we are just sharing the tinfoil hat for some reason…. Are we buying their marketing too?
Good luck and looking out for the next post!!

Good luck in the new venture 👍
Quite possible. Thank you!
Good luck with the new venture, will keep my eyes peeled for the continued insight.
Thank you, Seth!

I won't be able to help dropping an article from time to time :) Thank you so much for supporting me and for your well wishes!

Fair points. I'm sure the playbook from the last election is still close at hand for this one.
