Will AI compete with other AIs and if two AIs become self aware is that bad for humans? Could it be that AIs will end up competing with other AIs and leave us alone?
What an interesting thought. The short answer is I have no idea and I'd be skeptical if anyone says that they are sure that this would or would not happen. One thing the experts emphasize, particularly Raskin/Harris and Tegmark, is that once one AI learns something, they all know it. That suggests to me that they would be more likely to 'identify' as one thing and collaborate toward their shared goal rather than fight it out in a (probably entertaining) metaverse cagefight.
